Batohiro supported children from children’s homes. Sweatshirts worth a quarter of a million Czech korunas were donated to the Dejme dětem šanci Foundation.

Jul 23, 20262 min read

Prague, July 23, 2026 — Batohiro donated a collection of black hoodies worth a total of CZK 240,000 to children growing up in children’s homes. The donation was received yesterday by the Dejme dětem šanci Foundation, which has been supporting children and young people from alternative care on their journey toward independent living for many years.

For Batohiro, this is a natural expression of the values on which the brand is built. The idea behind “Be The Hiro” is about confidence, courage, and being the hero of your own story — about feeling that you can stand up for yourself and face whatever comes your way. This is exactly the feeling the brand wants to pass on to children whose start in life is far from easy and who have to become their own heroes every day.

About the Dejme dětem šanci Foundation

The Dejme dětem šanci Foundation supports children and young people growing up in children’s homes and alternative family care. It helps them prepare for independent living, supports their education and personal development, and guides them through the period when they leave the children’s home and stand on the threshold of adulthood. Its work is based on specific, targeted assistance — which is exactly why Batohiro chose to support it.

Part of a long-term commitment

Donating the hoodies is not a one-off initiative for Batohiro, but part of the brand’s broader approach to social responsibility. Batohiro believes that a brand’s success is measured not only by its sales, but also by what it is able to give back. In the coming months, it therefore plans to continue working with the nonprofit sector.

“We want the Batohiro brand to stand for more than just a product. When we can bring joy to children who need it most, that is exactly why we do this work,” says the Batohiro team.

Customers and supporters of the brand who would like to support the work of the Dejme dětem šanci Foundation can find more information on its official website. Every purchase from Batohiro also indirectly supports other similar projects that the brand is preparing for the future.
