Our production takes place exclusively on the territory of the Czech Republic, which allows us not only to reduce the ecological footprint of our products but also to support the local economy and provide jobs in our community.

Materials
Cordura® - fabrics
Highly durable technical fabric that is three times more resistant than polyester and twice as much as standard nylon. It is used where increased material durability is required, for example in the equipment of the American army. The material is used to reinforce stressed parts of garments and is water-resistant and easy to maintain.
Cordura® 1000D denotes the fiber strength, where "D" means Denier, a unit measuring the weight of 9 km of fiber in grams. Cordura® 1000D is used in extreme conditions.
FIDLOCK® - magnetic fastening systems
Magnetic fastening represents the pinnacle of thoughtful design, where the fastening parts connect almost magically by themselves when brought close. Despite this simplicity, the connection offers a high level of security and stability thanks to the integrated locking mechanism. Opening is then a breeze – just one simple movement. This original patented system transforms a common routine activity, like fastening a backpack, into an unexpectedly fun experience, which may sound a bit exaggerated, but it is true.
Behind the German brand FIDLOCK stands the story of Joachim Fiedler, who evolved from a childhood dreamer of a combine distributing jam sandwiches into an inventor and entrepreneur. At 16, he created his first patent – a system for transporting a cello on a bicycle, which was just the beginning of his innovative journey. His work led to the development of magnetic holders, key for locking mechanisms in today’s school backpacks. With more than 400 patents and a nomination for the European Inventor Award 2022, Joachim’s story becomes an inspiration, showing the power of dreaming and innovation in changing the world.
YKK - zippers
The beginning of the YKK company story goes back to Japan, where on January 1, 1934, Tadao Yoshida founded the company known as YKK, which stands for Yoshida Kogyo Kabushikikaisha, or Yoshida Ltd. Today, it employs over 46,000 people worldwide. YKK is also known for the high quality of its zippers. These zippers are valued for their durability, reliability, and perfect workmanship, which allows them to maintain functionality even after long-term use. Some YKK zipper models are also equipped with waterproof treatment.
SCREEN PRINTING - clothing printing
Screen printing is a printing technique often used for printing t-shirts and other textile products. High quality and durability of the print. The lifespan of screen printing on t-shirts and other textile products can be very long, especially if proper care procedures for the print are followed. Quality screen printing can withstand hundreds of washes without significant color fading or design wear. To maximize print longevity, it is recommended to wash products inside out and air dry them. We print in Prague.
Cotton - t-shirts
100% cotton is a natural material sought worldwide for its excellent properties. 100% cotton represents a classic, ecological, and functional choice for those seeking comfort, quality, and sustainability in their textile products.
This textile is obtained from the cotton plant, whose fibers are used to produce a soft, comfortable, and breathable material. Cotton is especially valued for its ability to absorb and wick moisture, making it an ideal choice for summer clothing. With proper care, it retains its shape and color.
Care: Wash in water at a temperature corresponding to the label instructions, usually 30-60°C. Avoid using bleach, which can damage fibers. Dry naturally in the air or in a dryer at low temperature. We purchase fabrics only within the EU.
STRAPS - for backpacks and waist bags
Our backpacks and waist bags are equipped with straps from Tišnov, Czech Republic, from a company with a tradition dating back to 1842. Originally, it specialized in the production of ropes and cords for agricultural and industrial purposes, later expanding its range to nets and straps. Since 1999, it holds the ČSN EN ISO 9001 quality certificate, which it regularly renews. The company exports its products to 30 countries, and all production takes place in the Czech Republic.
At BATOHIRO, it is important to us that every product serves as long as possible. Therefore, since 2024, we have added an out-of-warranty repair service to our philosophy of sustainability and quality. This step underscores our commitment to product longevity and reducing their ecological footprint. We offer repair options so that your favorite pieces remain in great condition for many years.
